10 Best Drew Barrymore Movies List

Who in this world doesn't love Drew Barrymore? Not only is she considered one of America's best sweethearts, but is also a fantastic actress. She plays quirky at its best and we love to empathize with her characters. Drew Barrymore movies are perfect for those rainy days or even for girls night in.

My mother and I have always been *huge* Drew Barrymore fans!  Yes, she's not the hottest girl on the block, but she is the most fun! I've recently built up my very own Drew Barrymore movie collection, and wanted to make a Top 10 list. Please leave comments of your favorite Drew Barrymore movies at the end! So, here are my picks for the 10 Best Drew Barrymore Movies!

Short Plot: Washed up singer, Alex Fletcher (Grant) lives comfortably in Manhattan, but has been out of work for some time.  He gets a chance to write a song for famed teen idol Cora Corman.  He has good melodies, but no lyrics.  This is where our favorite gal comes in!  Not only is she watering his plants, but has the best lyrics! Not only does this movie have cheesy songs, but who doesn't want to listen to Hugh Grant serenade Drew Barrymore?

Short Plot: A sexy crime-fighting trio who are masters of disguise, espionage and martial arts? We say yes! Along with angels Diaz and Liu, Barrymore tries to fight the mastermind who plotted to destroy their privacy. Along the way, a deep secret is revealed that could harm the angels! Yes, its not exactly cinema at its best, but it's good ole' fashioned action fun.

Short Plot: I love the chubbier, early Drew Barrymore!  This one's about a young 15-year-old girl having a child and dealing with a drug-abusing father.  It's all about doing everything right and wrong and getting over it.

IMDB rating: 6.2/10

Short Plot: Erin and Garrett find themselves in a difficult cross-country relationship. Will they make it through the distance? Not only is this a funny romantic comedy, but you'll find out if long distance relationships can really work.

Short Plot: We all know and love this movie from childhood so no need for a plot. It is the first and highest ranked movie Drew Barrymore has starred in.  It only ranks 6 on my list because Drew Barrymore doesn't have a huge part in it. Regardless: baby Drew + a cute alien = magic!

Short Plot: Josie Geller is a journalist who returns to high school for an undercover story.  Her own high school days were of misery, but plans to change all that with this second chance.  Poofy hair, prom and hot teachers. This one is a major girls movie night winner!

IMDB rating: 5.7/10

Short Plot: I don't want to give the plot away, but this is a perfect romantic movie date.  The Sandler-Barrymore chemistry is kitschy and kute! It does get a little cheesy, but only in a good way.

Short Plot: The *real* story behind Cinderella.  This is one of my absolute favorite Drew Barrymore movies.  The acting, the costumes and the accents make it all worthwhile.  Plus, you can't miss Anjelica Houston's performance as the evil stepmother!

Short Plot: This is the story of a legendary showman's leading a double life.  TV producer by day, CIA assassin by night.  This is an amazing movie with surprisingly, some great comedic relief moments.

Short Plot: Adam Sandler is a singer, and our girl Barrymore, is a waitress. They are both engaged to be married, but to the wrong people.  This is probably my favorite Drew Barrymore movie.  I get absolutely sentimental when Sandler starts to sing.  This one's a must-not-miss!
